How long does the install take, and is my backyard out of action the whole time?
Once council approval is through, your build typically begins within 12 to 16 weeks. The on-site install itself is usually a matter of days, not weeks, so your backyard is only out of action briefly. We confirm dates with you beforehand, so you are never left guessing.
How long does council approval take, and can you speed it up?
Honestly, that part is out of anyone's hands: it varies by council and how complex your job is. Some fly through in days (one recent Coffs job cleared in four), others take longer. Because we lodge DAs every week, we know what each council wants and keep yours moving.
Can I see a fixed price before I commit to anything?
Yes. The free on-site consult ends with a firm, transparent quote, and it does not move once we shake hands. As a guide, most patios land between $26k and $40k. Every job is quoted on-site, because no two backyards are the same.
Can I get finance?
Yes, through HandyPay. You can apply online in minutes with no deposit, no brokers and no ongoing fees, then spread the cost over flexible weekly, fortnightly or monthly repayments and a term that suits you. Ask your Design & Build Consultant at the consult and they will walk you through it.
Can you build over my existing slab, or do I need a new one?
Often we can build over a sound existing slab, which saves you money. If the slab will not take it, we will tell you straight at the consult and quote the footing work. No surprises later.
What warranty do I get, and what does it actually cover?
A 10-year warranty on your insulated roof, stacked with a 60-year Colorbond fade warranty, 5-year fans, and the NSW statutory builder's warranty (6 years major, 2 years general) that even covers future owners. All signed by the local team that built it.
